To paraphrase Marshal McLuhan, the change in human interactions is the message. ICT is having widespread and profound positive impact on learning and teaching but far too few people are clearly recognising these impacts.
In the words of one headteacher, “One of the most obvious things you see is the energy the children have for their learning”.

A main aim of this website is to spread the practical and pragmatic insights of schools, teachers and industry experts who recognise the impact. The website will always be a work in progress and contributions and suggestions are welcome.

We can help you to identify and promote the impact you are achieving, particularly where you are enabling ‘3rd millennium learning” to happen:
- Schools and teachers often do not recognise fully what they are achieving and have few ways to compare this with others. We can act as a critical friend to help you do this.
- The ways that ICT systems and software raise achievement by extending critical learning activities is often not made clear in traditional case studies. Our approach clearly identifies how the impact happens and explains it so it can be instantly grasped by others.

Double the Learning! - Identify and state the full impact of ICT in education, to convince the un-convinced.

Evidence and Guidance - where to find evidence of the true impact of ICT and guidance on how to achieve it.
